We are happy to announce that the film of Miki Ambrozy "Fabric of Time" has received a VAF (Flanders Audiovisual Fund) Wildcard Award in the category of Film Lab!

On the backstage of the film, our own Andreas Hannes choreographed the performance scene of the experimental documentary, with dancer Alex Tsiamoglou and performer Caroline Daish. The film has also an original score by percussionist and composer Kostas Hanis, a constant collaborator of Small House Productions.

"Fabric of time takes us to 1980s Hungary through sound recordings, photographs and performative re-enactments of childhood. By means of a three-layered structure, the cinematic experiment implicitly talks about the author's point of view on his family's history and domestic conflict, while constructing memories for the years purposefully forgotten."

Congratulations to the director Miki Ambrozy and to everyone involved in the film!

Cinedans sees the ideal dance film as a true synthesis between the two media of dance and cinematography. At Cinedans the emphasis lies on choreographies created specifically for the camera and on special film adaptations of existing dance performances.
